Handstamped Card Club

So you’re new to stamping and don’t know where to start; or you feel like you’ve lost your creative mojo…

…no problem, the Handstamped Card Club can help!

If you’re not exactly sure what a Card Club is, it’s a commitment to attend a night of crafting each month where we make three beautiful cards together. I will provide you with everything you need to complete the projects, as well as step-by-step instructions.

It’s really a great way to pace yourself by building up your stamping supplies over time and staying on a budget (especially if your wish list it a mile long like mine!).

Here are the projects we created in January.

January Card Club 2016

My Card Club is also a terrific way to get perks and bonuses from me. I often do draws and raffles during the night-of and have some upcoming perks planned (including hostess benefits!). You also get a fun night out with light refreshments and a chance to meet new friends.

All you have to do is spend a minimum of $35 on product (before taxes and shipping).

Our next Card Club is scheduled for Wednesday February 17th at 8:00 pm.

You will be sent specific location details once your spot in confirmed, but please note that I am located in Hamilton, ON.

If you’d like more information or would like to confirm your attendance, please contact me.

I hope to see you soon!

Recent Projects

Now that I’ve posted my first blog post, I thought I’d share a few recent projects I’ve completed before going head on into video tutorials, etc.

Making cards has become a passion of mine so I’m so thankful I get to share them with my audience. Let me know what you think by commenting below!

Birthday Florals
One of my favourite stamp sets from Sale-A-Bration is the What I Love photopolymer stamps. The florals are just so versatile that they can really be used for any card. For this particular card, I used the Island Indigo ink pad with matching paper, and the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Butterfly Basics Clear-Mount Stamp Set (my personal favourite birthday sentiment!). I then added some rhinestones and a touch of Wink of Stella to the flowers, and here we are!

The fold is also different from your standard card so I think it really make this one stand out.Birthday FINAL - Blog FEB02Birthday 2 FINAL - Blog FEB02

So Loved
This is a great card for beginners. I used Whisper White cardstock, along with a patterned paper from our Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack that can be found on Page 17 in our 2016 Occasions catalogue. The floral stamp is from the For the New Two rubber stamp set in our 2015 – 2016 Annual catalogue and the sentiment stamp is from the Watercolour Wishes photopolymer stamp set. The ink colours used are Basic Black and Blushing Bride.

Butterfly Love
This card is also great for beginners, and it involves one of my favourite tools – the Big Shot! The cardstock used is Island Indigo and Whisper White (which is embossed using the Lovely Lace embossing folder). I also used matching ribbon and the Butterflies Thinlits.
