We’re in the middle of an April ice storm here in Hamilton…what the heck?! I am so ready for Spring! BUT, being stuck inside has it’s advantages as I was able to film and edit my latest video all in one day! Winning!
Today’s card is so pretty, isn’t it? Not only does it have a little bling, but I made it using absolutely NO stamping! I do love to stamp, but sometimes you just gotta change it up, you know?
For this card the main items used are the Eclectic Layers Thinlit Dies and the Celebrate you Thinlits (coming out June 1st). A full list of supplies used for this card is located at the end of this blog post.

Today I’m sharing a live unboxing video I did on Facebook yesterday, and showing you all the goodies I ordered from the NEW catalogue (that comes out on June 1st)! One of the perks about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is that we can almost always get our hands on new items before anyone else! Doesn’t that sound amazing? If you’ve ever though about becoming a demo, now is the perfect time to join my team!
Now, back to the unboxing. In case you missed it live, I’ve posted the video below. You are going to love everything you see – I promise!
Aren’t these items just beautiful?! I can’t wait to start playing with it all! If you have any questions about what you see, please let me know by leaving a comment below, or you can contact me directly.
QUICK UPDATE: My Catalogue Launch Party is actually on FRIDAY, JUNE 2nd! You can RSVP on my Facebook Event.
Hello friends! Welcome back to the Stampin’ Girl blog! My apologies for not posting in a little while, as we’ve been dealing with a flooded basement! I’ve had to start using my dining room as my craft area, but I’m at least excited I can still craft!
Any who, are you excited to see a sneak peek of a new bundle available in the upcoming 2017 – 2018 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue?! I knew you would be!
How adorable is this set?! It comes from the new Birthday Delivery Suite, which includes the stamp set, designer series paper, and framelits! The amazing thing about this suite is that the framelits cut out not only the images in the stamp set, but also those in the designer paper! Can you say, MIND BLOWN?!
The other great thing about this set is that it’s actually a whole suite! You can include super cute matching ribbon, cardstock, and balloon honeycomb embellishments.
I can’t wait for you to get your hands on this set as I know you will just love it. You’ll find it in the upcoming 2017 – 2018 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue, which goes live on June 1st, 2017.
If you’re just as excited about the new catalogue as I am, be sure to sign up for my NEW newsletter to continue getting sneak peeks and updated on all exciting things there are to come!
Thanks for stopping by!

Now that I’ve posted my first blog post, I thought I’d share a few recent projects I’ve completed before going head on into video tutorials, etc.
Making cards has become a passion of mine so I’m so thankful I get to share them with my audience. Let me know what you think by commenting below!
Birthday Florals One of my favourite stamp sets from Sale-A-Bration is the What I Love photopolymer stamps. The florals are just so versatile that they can really be used for any card. For this particular card, I used the Island Indigo ink pad with matching paper, and the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Butterfly Basics Clear-Mount Stamp Set (my personal favourite birthday sentiment!). I then added some rhinestones and a touch of Wink of Stella to the flowers, and here we are!
The fold is also different from your standard card so I think it really make this one stand out.
So Loved This is a great card for beginners. I used Whisper White cardstock, along with a patterned paper from our Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack that can be found on Page 17 in our 2016 Occasions catalogue. The floral stamp is from the For the New Two rubber stamp set in our 2015 – 2016 Annual catalogue and the sentiment stamp is from the Watercolour Wishes photopolymer stamp set. The ink colours used are Basic Black and Blushing Bride.
Butterfly Love This card is also great for beginners, and it involves one of my favourite tools – the Big Shot! The cardstock used is Island Indigo and Whisper White (which is embossed using the Lovely Lace embossing folder). I also used matching ribbon and the Butterflies Thinlits.
