Carols of Christmas Bundle

Carols of Christmas Bundle Heading - BLOG

Hello friends! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! We’ve certainly been busy! We finally got started on new flooring in our basement since our last flooding, and I took my boys to an amazing farm for some apple picking and lots of play! Weekends pass way too soon, don’t they?

I have a couple of cards to share with you today using the new Carols of Christmas Bundle from the new Holiday Catalogue.

Carols of Christmas - BLOG

I just love that Stampin’ Up! included Brown Craft Paper and Old Olive Cardstock together as the Merry Little Christmas Bundle.  Coupled with Basic Black Cardstock, it just looks so great and I think the colour combination really works! I even used the new Champaign Foil Sheets for the cute little deer that comes in the bundle as part of the framelits.

I should also note that the card above is also part of the Card Swap I am participating in with my Stampin’ Up! Team! I’m so excited to participate with such a wonderful group of ladies! If you want to know more about joining my team, click HERE!

This is another beautiful card that I created with the bundle! Isn’t it stunning? I coupled it with the Be Merry Designer Series Paper from the Annual Catalogue, as well as the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies and the  beautiful Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon.

I just love how both of these cards turned out! Is this bundle on your wish list?

You can see a complete list of all the supplies I used to create today’s card, with clickable links to My Canadian Online Stampin’ Up! Store at the end of this blog post. I’d love to be your Canadian Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

Event Spotlight: Catalogue Launch Party

Launch Party

Hi Friends!

The new 2017 – 2018 Stampin’ Up! Catalogue is all set to launch on June 1st, so I thought I’d take the opportunity to tell you all about my Catalogue Launch Party!

If you’re local to the Hamilton, ON area, then I invite you to join me for an evening of fun!

This is my first-ever launch party, and I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am! I have so many great things planned and I am beyond excited to show you all the new items Stampin’ Up! has to offer! If you haven’t seen any yet, CLICK HERE, to get a few sneak peek at the new Birthday Delivery Bundle. There are also a few new projects posted on my Instagram, so be sure to check it out and follow.

Anyway, back to the launch party! This drop-in style event will be filled with fun, laughter, and crafting. Here are just a few of things I have planned for you:

  • Each person will get a copy of the brand new catalogue (the best part)!
  • Each person will get a special gift (or two) from me because I am so thankful that you can attend.
  • Everyone will get to make one or two make-and-takes featuring new products.

There will also be door prizes, light refreshments, and more!

Plus, each person who places an order valued at $45 or more (before taxes and shipping) from the new catalogue at the launch party, will be entered to win a $30 shopping spree on me!

Doesn’t this sound fun! Be sure to RSVP by May 29th via the Facebook event page.

If you have any questions about the event, please leave a comment below or contact me directly.

Note that the event address will only be sent to those who have RSVP’d via the Facebook event page or to those who have RSVP’d with me directly.

I hope to see you there!

Recent Projects

Now that I’ve posted my first blog post, I thought I’d share a few recent projects I’ve completed before going head on into video tutorials, etc.

Making cards has become a passion of mine so I’m so thankful I get to share them with my audience. Let me know what you think by commenting below!

Birthday Florals
One of my favourite stamp sets from Sale-A-Bration is the What I Love photopolymer stamps. The florals are just so versatile that they can really be used for any card. For this particular card, I used the Island Indigo ink pad with matching paper, and the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Butterfly Basics Clear-Mount Stamp Set (my personal favourite birthday sentiment!). I then added some rhinestones and a touch of Wink of Stella to the flowers, and here we are!

The fold is also different from your standard card so I think it really make this one stand out.Birthday FINAL - Blog FEB02Birthday 2 FINAL - Blog FEB02

So Loved
This is a great card for beginners. I used Whisper White cardstock, along with a patterned paper from our Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack that can be found on Page 17 in our 2016 Occasions catalogue. The floral stamp is from the For the New Two rubber stamp set in our 2015 – 2016 Annual catalogue and the sentiment stamp is from the Watercolour Wishes photopolymer stamp set. The ink colours used are Basic Black and Blushing Bride.

Butterfly Love
This card is also great for beginners, and it involves one of my favourite tools – the Big Shot! The cardstock used is Island Indigo and Whisper White (which is embossed using the Lovely Lace embossing folder). I also used matching ribbon and the Butterflies Thinlits.
